Highlights: Pay Rate: $41.33/hr [ Below 50Miles ] Pay Rate: $51.66/hr [ More than 50 Miles ] 12-hour shift three days each week Medical/Surgical with Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Summary Department: Renal Dialysis Unit​ Shift Timings: 06:30-19:00 Hours Monday to friday (3 Days/12 Hours Shift) Per Week: 36 Hours. 6 Kidd provides post op surgical care to general surgery patients. 6 Kidd provides care regularly to overflow medical and surgical patients from throughout the hospital. Patients must be hemodynamically stable and not require mechanical ventilation. Ages of Patients Served: Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+) 32 Beds Population Served: The most frequent diagnosis for 6 Kidd includes, but is not limited to: Bowel Obstruction, Wound Infection, Gastrointestinal Cancers, and Morbid Obesity. Responsibilities: Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
