Position Overview

As an Energy Efficiency Engineer, you will be responsible for optimizing energy consumption across automotive test facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities:

1. Energy Optimization

Conduct energy audits on test equipment and facilities.
Identify energy-saving opportunities and propose cost-effective solutions.
Implement and monitor energy optimization projects.

2. Maintenance Operations

Perform or supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of energy-related equipment.
Ensure operational continuity and integrate energy-efficient practices within maintenance routines.

3. Project Management

Plan, lead, and coordinate energy efficiency improvement projects.
Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, and KPIs.
Prepare technical documentation and report outcomes to stakeholders.

4. Regulatory Compliance

Ensure full compliance with local and international energy and environmental regulations.
Support certifications (e.g., ISO 50001).
Guarantee adherence to safety and performance standards.

5. Technology Monitoring & Innovation

Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in energy efficiency.
Recommend new tools and practices to improve system performance.

6. Training & Awareness

Deliver training programs and promote energy-saving culture within the company.
Raise awareness of energy-efficient behaviors and practices across teams.

Profile Requirements

Professional Experience

Demonstrated experience in the automotive industry, particularly in test equipment maintenance.
Proven track record in energy efficiency project management.

Technical Skills

In-depth knowledge of energy systems and energy efficiency technologies.
Familiarity with simulation and energy modeling tools.
Strong understanding of regulatory standards (e.g., ISO 50001, energy/environmental laws).

Soft Skills

Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Self-driven, methodical, and capable of taking initiative.
