DevOps Engineer

Looking for an engineer to help maintain software and systems as we build for our customers. With your programming expertise and your operational experience, you will have a direct impact on the customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain our infrastructure and plan for future growth.
• Develop automation to achieve human-free operations using approaches that massively scale and evolve systems by pushing for changes that improve reliability and velocity.
• Maintain services once they are Live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
• Engage in and improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception and design, through deployment, operation, and refinement.
• Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of Linux and shell scripting
• Practical experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes
• Experience implementing CI/CD (Github Actions, CircleCI, GitLab)
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Cloudformation, Helm)
• Manage high-volume networks and large-traffic websites and make recommendations for scaling when appropriate.
• Monitor metrics, and logs and develop ways to improve (Prometheus/OpenMetrics, Grafana, ELK)
• AWS Certifications are a plus
